Under ownership of the Laborde family, who own Château Clinet in Pomerol, Château Pajzos is one of the great terroirs in Tokaj, Hungary. The 70 hectares of vineyards sit on volcanic, rocky soils surrounding the famous wine village of Sarospatak and are planted to the native varietals: Furmint, Muscat, Harslevelu and Zeta.
Here, we have the Muscat varietal in smaller bottles of 500ml. Typical wine sizes are 750ml.
Ageing and fermentation was made in stainless steel tanks in order to keep the grapes' fruity freshness. Vibrant gold in colour with aromatic floral characters of mango, pineapple, apricot and honey notes, these two bottles express sweet tropical flavours and are well balanced with bright acidity.
